Assassin’s Creed Confessions (asscreed-confessions) is a fan made blog where people, where anyone can post or submit a confession they have involving Assassin’s Creed.
1. How do I send in my confession?
There are two ways to send in a confession. The first is to go through the ask box. You can do this anonymously, or signed in. No one will know who you are either way.
The second option is the submit box. The ask box has a character limit, so if your confession does not fit in the required length, use the submit box. The submit box can also be used if you make your own confession graphic and want to submit it.
2. I have a graphic to submit, but wish to remain anonymous. How can I do this?
Log out of your tumblr and go to the submit box. You are still able to submit your graphic, you just have to fill out an email address and name - these can be fake.
3. Where did you get your layout?
I never delete the credit for the layout maker. It should either be in the sidebar or the bottom of the page.
4. It’s been a while since I submitted my confession. How can I be sure you received it or if tumblr ate it?
It can never hurt to ask. If you submitted your confession on Anon, then message this blog (not Anon) with the gist of your confession and when you sent it (a few days ago, etc) and I’ll privately send you a response.
Please do remember that these take time. Confessions are made in the order that they are received.
4. What program do you use to make the graphics?
I use Photoshop CS5. I normally use Times New Roman as a font. All images are sized 500 pixels by 300 pixels.
5. Why is your personal blog linked? No one curs.
Just in case people want to talk to me on a personal level, not through the confessions blog. I am always open to talking with anyone and try my best to answer any and all questions one might have. (Also, see this post)
6. What kind of confessions are allowed? Which kinds are not?
I used to take all kinds of confessions, that’s the whole purpose of this kind of blog! You know, for fun and stuff. But because of all the wank and the absolute childishness in which people have handled and/or posted confessions, I will NO LONGER post confessions regarding the fandom. If you submit a secret about the tumblrhood, you obviously did not read the rules and your confession will be deleted. Even if it is about something good regarding the fandom. Sorry guys, but you know how it goes.
7. Why is it taking so long for my confession to get posted?
This blog gets a lot of confessions. A lot of people have a lot of things to say. You could help out, however, by making your own confession graphic and submitting it! :D
8. But I don’t have an awesome graphics program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro!
GIMP! Gimp is a free graphic program that has pretty much the same features. A lot of people make graphics with it and you would think it was made by Photoshop. Also, check out some tutorials on the web also to get you started! (livejournal is awesome for this, a personal favorite is valliegurl)
MS PAINT! Dude, it’s free and comes with your computer, if you have Windows I think. I don’t know if it comes with Mac computers. But, I even made a tutorial for MS Paint. CLICK HERE.
9. How often are confessions posted?
Right now, 10-12 confessions are posted in a day during a 12 hour period. It might increase or lessen depending on how many confessions I have done.
10. I have another question, but it’s not on the FAQ.
It wouldn’t hurt to ask it in the ask box. I would prefer that questions are submitted not anonymously so I can send you a private PM and not clutter the blog, but if you feel uncomfortable with it and want to go Anon, I’m not going to ignore you lol!
